On Monday we set off early after breakfast and walked on the costal path in the opposite direction to yesterday. We left Rotherslade and walked passed Limeslade Bay, Bracelet Bay, Mumbles Pier and eventually ended up in the Mumbles. We arrived in Mumbles at about eleven, just in time for morning coffee and a Joe's ice cream. Bonus!

Joe's Ice Cream Parlour and, as it states on the tub, this is the best ice cream in the World. It has the most beautiful creamy consistency and a milky taste. Traditionally it is taken with chocolate sprinkles or chocolate and nuts sprinkles as seen in the photo below:
In the afternoon, when we had recovered from our morning expedition, we drove the car further into the Gower for another walk. We parked the car in a place called Penmaen and then walked on the costal path to Tor Bay - one of our favourite bays on the Gower.

We walked to the left of Tor Bay on the beach and came to the very picturesque Three Cliffs Bay. In a recent TV programme about the most beautiful places in the Uk, Three Cliffs was voted as the second most beautiful place.

After this second long walk of the day we were hungry and exhausted so we drove even further onto the Gower to a place called Reynoldston and had our evening meal in The King Arthur.
When in Wales.........eat faggots, peas, mash potatoes and onion gravy.........absolutely gorgeous!!
